The Mid-Atlantic Teen Challenge programs for troubled teens have been developed specifically for teenage boys age 12 to 17. Our staff utilizes the Teen Challenge curriculum to teach our students the skills to help them cope with everyday life issues. Our residential programs for troubled youth are designed to teach our students how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and live addiction-free lives. We achieve this through a balance of Bible classes, discipleship mentoring programs, educational programs, work assignments, and recreation.
In our programs for troubled teens, our students receive a quality education at our Christian boarding school for boys while receiving guidance for substance abuse recovery. Students have daily devotions and discipleship training, as well as secondary education classes to ensure that they don’t fall behind while receiving treatment.
At Mid-Atlantic Teen Challenge, our programs for troubled teens focus on much more than just the physical aspects of substance abuse treatment and recovery. Our programs for troubled teens focus on the spiritual, emotional, social and educational aspects of recovery, along with the physical aspects.
Life can get complicated sometimes, and often, addiction is the result of deeper issues that are difficult to handle without the right tools and training. Through emotional healing, spiritual guidance, healthy relationships, and a strong education, the students that graduate from the Mid-Atlantic Teen Challenge programs for troubled teens have the skills necessary to handle life’s challenges without resorting to drugs or alcohol.
